\n• Schedule : Full-time, Nights, 7pm-7am. NO ON-CALL, every 3rd weekend
\n• Pay : based on experience plus shift differentials and full benefits (medical, dental, vision options, tuition reimbursement, paid parking, HSA, retirement options plus PTO and holiday pay)
\n \nJob Description
\nThe L&D Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
\n• Provide care and monitoring for patients during labor and childbirth
\n• Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques
\n• Monitor fetal heart rate and contractions using specialized equipment
\n• Assist physicians during delivery, including vaginal and cesarean births
\n• Support newborn care immediately after birth, including Apgar assessments
\n• Document patient information and birth details accurately
\n• Educate and support families throughout the labor and delivery process
\n• Ensure a clean, safe, and emotionally supportive birthing environment
\n \nQualifications:
\n• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
\n• Current (or ability to obtain) state of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
\n• At least two years of labor and delivery nursing experience
